The Crash Proof Retirement Radio Show is celebrating its 11th year on the air educating hard working Americans on the atrocities that occur on Wall Street, how to avoid them, and how to have peace of mind in retirement through The Exclusive Crash Proof Retirement System.
After witnessing little-known Crash Proof Vehicles, based in the insurance industry, not only survive, but thrive through the crash of 2001, Phillip Cannella felt obligated to get the word out about these safe alternatives as a public service to The American Retiree.
Shortly after starting the show, Joann Small joined him as his co-host, and together they’ve since protected over 5,000 Crash Proof Consumers around the country.
At a recent Crash Proof Retirement Educational Event, Phil Cannella reminisces about the launch of the Crash Proof Retirement Show:
“We opened up our radio show after the market crashed in August of 2008 on a Friday. 750 points if you really want to recall that day. We saw Crash Proof Vehicles go through a market crash with no market losses, no fees, and averaging 7%. The fact that mainstream media never reported on these vehicles is why I called CBS Television network, ABC television network, and NBC television network locally. I just wanted to let the public know about these vehicles. They put an intern on the phone with me and the intern said they’d take my name and number to have someone call me back. No one called me back; and I don’t wait. Do I look like a laid-back person to you? No, quite the opposite. I’m a take action type of guy. That Monday morning, I decided to go down to City Line Avenue in Philadelphia to speak to the senior vice president of CBS Radio, Mr. Jim Loftus, who had been there for 30 years. I asked him what I had to do to get the word out and was told, ‘For $4,500 a week you can have a 40-minute show and you’re going to be called ‘paid programming.’ And that only airs Saturdays and Sundays. You aren’t going to be the talent during the week.’ I didn’t care. That’s great if I pay because I can say what I want to say, unlike paid hosts who are told what they can and cannot say. There’s a big difference there.
We started our show on November 23, 2008 and are one of the longest lasting paid programming shows with CBS radio network in their history. We’ve never had a consumer complaint, but we’ve had a hell of a lot of competitor complaints. They say, ‘There’s no such thing as a Crash Proof Retirement. How can the guy say that? What do you mean you don’t have to take a distribution if you’re over 70 ½? Everyone knows you have to take a distribution.’ We’ve been proving those competitors wrong with the truth ever since.”
Today, the Crash Proof Retirement Show airs not only in the Philadelphia market on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Saturdays at 11 AM and Sundays at 1 PM, but also in the West Palm Beach market on Legends Radio 100.3 FM, Sundays at 8 AM. Both are the area’s number one source for accurate financial news.
